The mission of W7RJP.com is to serve as a comprehensive resource that advances the art, science, and enjoyment of Amateur Radio in the Central Utah community and beyond.
We achieve this through the following core commitments:
- Promote Education and Skill: To provide clear, accessible content and guides that help new operators get licensed, understand technical concepts (like antennas and propagation), and practice proper operating techniques.
- Strengthen Local Community: To act as the official digital hub for the Skyline Radio Club, organizing local repeater information, Net schedules, and coordinating local emergency communications drills and public service events.
- Ensure Readiness (Public Service): To vigorously support local ARES/RACES efforts by encouraging training and equipping hams to serve as a reliable line of communication when all other systems fail.
- Curate Quality Equipment: To offer a shop that stocks tested, reliable gear and accessories, ensuring that every operator, regardless of budget, has the tools necessary to get on the air and achieve their goals.
